ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – April 25, 2007 – One of the top 10 U.S. mortgage lenders has
signed on to become US Technology’s first mortgage BPO client following the recent
launch of its Mortgage BPO practice.
The client wanted to retain its current mortgage loan customers by improving regular
communications with them, US Technology said. In addition to sending out monthly
mortgage statements, the lender wanted to ensure customers are well informed of
current market trends, new products and special offers. It needed a quick way to
reconfirm the integrity of its data and format all correspondence information onto
a single system.
To retain its borrowers, the client needs to collect and recertify data quickly.
However, internal staff does not have the additional bandwidth to handle this work.
US Technology was enslisted to help support the client. The first project US Technology
will be responsible for is to examine recordation data and ensure that the data
matches the original mortgage information on the client’s database.
The US Technology Mortgage BPO practice, which ranges from loan origination processing
to loan servicing, helps mortgage lenders and mortgage services providers reduce
their back-office processing costs while improving processing efficiencies. The
services are designed to help lenders and service providers retain control of their
operations while providing them with the ability to scale up or down during market
fluctuations.
