US Technology Signs a Multi-Million Dollar Contract with a Leading National Retailer

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - May 21, 2007 - US Technology, a leading provider of IT services
and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions for Global 2000 enterprises, today
announced that it has signed a multi-million dollar deal for a management information
system implementation with a national retailer with more than 5,500 locations. US
Technology was engaged to implement the system that will support the client’s commitment
to continually increasing customer satisfaction. This is a green field project that
will leverage the latest architecture and technology including Service Oriented
Architecture and Windows Workflow Foundation in .Net domain. The system applications
will be deployed in three phases with the first release scheduled to go live in
August 2007.
Client Goal: An On-going Commitment to Improving Efficiencies for its Customers
The client is committed to improving efficiencies and is continually seeking to
enhance customer satisfaction. For this new system, the client has three goals.
Their first goal is to consolidate data sources across several departments and to
do a data migration from a few smaller databases to the new database and application
that US Technology is developing. The second goal is to optimize information exchanges
between business processes. The third goal is to remove inefficiencies related to
work overlap.

was hired to do requirements analysis and reengineering of their business processes.
Over the course of the past year and a half, client stakeholders worked together
with the US Technology reengineering experts to achieve highly efficient and more
agile solutions to manage customer relations.

could achieve measurable benefits and run their business in a much more efficient
way. This resulted in a greatly revamped business process, which will be supported
by the automation and consolidation that the new application will bring in.
