US Technology Expands Asia Pacific Operations with a New Facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
US Technology is now UST Global - press release
(Every mention of US Technology in this section refers to UST Global)
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - April 18, 2007 - US Technology, a leading provider of IT services and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions for Global 2000 enterprises, today announced the opening of a new center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Located in the prestigious SME Technopreneur Centre in Cyberjaya, the new Malaysia facilities will expand the company’s Asia Pacific operations and extend its capabilities to provide services to enterprises throughout Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong – one of the fastest growing regions in the world.

US Technology will now be able to offer its South East Asia clientele local access to the company’s Centers of Excellence and more easily deliver its proven solutions and leadership in the areas of IT services, infrastructure management services and business process outsourcing.

With Malaysia’s growing infrastructure investment and reputation in the IT community, US Technology opened its first facility in Kuala Lumpur in 2005. As the company’s client base expanded, US Technology outgrew the initial facility but not its affinity for the region. The company has invested in a larger center in the area due to the hospitable business environment Malaysia provides, the extensive government support available to multinational corporations and an abundance of educational institutions and strong technical resources.

The company will operate as a Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status-approved firm under the name US Technology Resources SDN BHD. The Multimedia Super Corridor is a government designated zone with more than 900 multinationals, foreign-owned and home-grown Malaysian companies in the global information and communication technology industry. US Technology plans to leverage the MSC status which provides incentives for multinational companies such as finding local talent, assisting with work permit processing and networking with local corporate entities.

"The South East Asia region is a strategic location for US Technology," said Sajan Pillai, president and COO of US Technology. "Adding this new center in Malaysia will enhance our ability to support our growing Asia Pacific client base and partners as well as build momentum for our growth plans in the region."

The new office is located at:
Unit No: C-3-04(C)
SME Technopreneur Centre Cyberjaya
2270 Jalan Usahawan 2
63000 Cyberjaya Selangor Darul Ehsan
